Whitman MA-The Town of Whitman will have electronic voting devices available for our upcoming Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 4th. These handheld devices are designed to make voting faster, more accurate, and more efficient for all registered voters in attendance.

We will be using the TownVote system by Meridia Interactive Solutions, a trusted platform used by municipalities to streamline the voting process while maintaining transparency and accuracy.

🗳️ What to Expect:

• Each registered voter will receive a handheld voting device upon check-in

• Clear instructions will be provided at the meeting

• Votes are recorded instantly, reducing or eliminating the need for voice votes and manual counts

• Results can be displayed quickly, helping the meeting move along more efficiently

📖 Come Prepared:

We strongly encourage all registered voters to review how the system works in advance, so you feel comfortable using the device during the meeting.
