The suspect is Keith Cheverie (age 39), who works in Plymouth, Massachusetts as a health-care insurance consultant.

He was one of 56 people arrested statewide in a three-day operation called Operation Firewall by the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit / Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

He pleaded not guilty on November 4 to one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.

His bail was set at $10,000 cash; after posting bail he was released under strict conditions including wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet and an 8 p.m. curfew.

He is due back in court on December 1.

According to the police affidavit, the online account connected to him contained multiple illicit items: a photo of a naked young girl with a butterfly painted on her face looking at the camera in a “lascivious” pose; a video of another young girl naked from the waist down also looking at the camera.

The account also reportedly had a group-chat message from “Cheverie” suggestively trading “teen girl vids”.

Why this matters locally:
Since this involves a local professional in your community (Plymouth), it heightens concerns about child-safety, online predation, and the importance of being aware of electronic and cyber risks. It also underscores how state law-enforcement is actively investigating and arresting in this domain.
