A 22-year-old Rehoboth man has been arrested on charges that he assaulted a missing pregnant 18-year-old girlfriend the day before she disappeared

“Based on information obtained as a result during the investigation into the disappearance of Kylee Monterio, police obtained a search warrant for property 107 County St., Rehoboth, that was executed starting this afternoon,” said Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn during the press conference. “As a result of a search of the property, human remains consistent with those of Kylee Monterio have been recovered. We await confirmation from the Office of the State Medical Examiner.”
