MARSHFIELD, Mass. (April 1, 2026) — A South Shore man was arrested Monday, March 31, following a child exploitation investigation conducted by local and state authorities.

Police say Nicholas Miller, 32, of Marshfield, was taken into custody after officers executed a court-authorized search warrant at his residence.

The investigation involved the Marshfield Police Department along with the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit.

During the search, authorities seized multiple electronic devices. Investigators say evidence consistent with child sexual abuse material was discovered as part of the probe.

Miller has been charged with possession of child pornography and is expected to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court.

Officials noted that the investigation remains active, and additional charges could be filed pending a full forensic review of the seized devices.
